Terms of Service

By using Dokuva, you agree to the following terms. Dokuva is operated by ADCX Lab Hub (JM1033406-H).

1. Service Description

Dokuva is an AI accounting service that processes uploaded financial documents (invoices, receipts, bank statements) and outputs structured data in formats compatible with accounting software (SQL Account, AutoCount, Financio) and LHDN e-Invoice standards.

2. Account & Access

• Accounts are created by Dokuva upon confirmed payment.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• Do not share your account with others. Each account is for a single user or entity.
• We reserve the right to deactivate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Subscription & Payment

• Plans are billed monthly. Payment is due before the start of each billing cycle.
• Document limits reset on the 1st of each month. No carry forward — unused documents expire at month end.
• Failure to pay within 14 days of due date will result in account deactivation.
• No refunds for unused documents or partial months.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

• Upload only documents you are authorised to process.
• Not upload illegal, fraudulent, or malicious content.
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or abuse the service.
• Not exceed your plan's document limit through any means.

5. AI Accuracy & Disclaimer

• Dokuva uses AI to extract data from documents. AI extraction is not 100% accurate.
• You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all extracted data before importing into your accounting software or submitting to LHDN.
• Dokuva is not liable for errors in extracted data, incorrect tax calculations, or compliance issues arising from unverified data.
• Confidence scores are provided as guidance only — they do not guarantee accuracy.
• e-Invoice validation checks for field completeness only — it does not guarantee LHDN acceptance.

6. Data Ownership

• You retain full ownership of all documents you upload and all data extracted from them.
• Dokuva does not claim any ownership or rights over your data.
• We process your data solely to provide the service.

7. Limitation of Liability

• Dokuva is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
• We are not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including but not limited to financial losses, tax penalties, or audit issues.
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the month the issue occurred.

8. Service Availability

• We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime.
• Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible.
• We are not liable for downtime caused by AWS or third-party service outages.

9. Termination

• You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us.
• Upon cancellation, your data will be retained for 30 days then deleted.
• We may terminate your account immediately if you violate these terms.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Malaysian courts.
